Grassy Hollow Picnic Area Description
Grassy Hollow Picnic Center is located at the Grassy Hollow Visitor Center, west of the town of Wrightwood, near Inspiration Point. This is the largest picnic area around Wrightwood as it offers 22 tables as well as 22 stoves. There are also restrooms within the Grassy Hollow Picnic Area and running water. The Grassy Hollow Picnic Area is also a favorite because of its views of Mt Baden Powell and the San Gabriel River Basin (East Fork), as it is located on the Blue Ridge. Be sure to check out the Grassy Hollow Visitor Center or take a walk to the Jackson Flat Group Camp from the road in the picnic area.
Directions to Grassy Hollow Picnic Area from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from the town of Wrightwood to Inspiration Point. Continue down Highway 2 for less than a mile to the Grassy Hollow Visitor Center (on your right). The Grassy Hollow Picnic Area is located all around the Visitor Center.
