Arch Picnic Area Description
Arch Picnic Area is located just down Big Pines Highway from Big Pines and Mt High's West Resort. Arch Picnic Area is one of the larger picnic areas as it has 13 different tables. There is also a creek that runs along the edge of the picnic area. Arch Picnic Area has a pit toilet restroom, however no stoves. If you need to cook anything, be sure to bring your own stove. Arch Picnic Area does have running water during summer months.
Directions to Arch Picnic Area from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from the town of Wrightwood to the Big Pines Area around Mountain High's West Resort. From here, take the Big Pines Highway (downhill) for no more than a quarter of a mile. Arch Picnic Area will be on your left. If parking here, don't forget to display a National Forest Adventure Pass in the window of your vehicle.
