Lake Campground Description
Lake Campground is located right next to Jackson Lake, west of the town of Wrightwood. This campground gives a little more privacy than Apple Tree and Peavine, however it is still just off of the highway. The edge of the campground meets the tip of Jackson Lake. This is where you want to be if you're into fishing and don't want to walk far to get to the water. There are 8 campsites in Lake Campground. Facilities include pit toilets and running water. This campsite does have a fee of around $20 per night and allows for RV access of vehicles up to 18 feet in length.
Directions to Lake Campground from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from the town of Wrightwood to the Big Pines Area. Take Big Pines Highway (downhill) toward Jackson Lake. The entrance to Lake Campground will be on your left, past Mescal Picnic Area, and just before Jackson Lake.
