Jackson Flat Group Campground Description
Jackson Flat Group Campground is located south-west of the town of Wrightwood, on the Blue Ridge near Grassy Hollow Visitor Center. This is a group campground right along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), west of Inspiration Point. There is no vehicle access to this campground. The Jackson Flat Group Campground has 5 large group sites, pit toilets, and running water. Inside the campground there are bear-proof food storage containers. There is a campground host and fees do apply. Refer to the campground host for further information.
Directions to Jackson Flat Group Campground from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from the town of Wrightwood to Inspiration Point. From Inspiration Point, continue on Highway 2 for less than a mile to the Grassy Hollow Visitor Center. To get to Jackson Flat Group Campground, walk along the closed road which leads from the Grassy Hollow Picnic Area to the campground. Another option would be to hike along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from Grassy Hollow to Jackson Flat Group Campground.
